Blog Subject:  Shoulda coulda woulda

I suppose I should update the blog a bit, so let's get to it.

First subject: SOCOM

SOCOM: Confrontation has not yet received it's highly anticipated patch as of 7/29/09. The SOCOM.com blog hasn't been updated in almost a month, I guess this patch won't come out until its ready, but it's taking a very very long time. I'm willing to bet the patch will be released sometime late August. And that's being rather conservative too. I couldn't make it to this week's clan night because I had work, and I had to take care of my sick fiancee. I'll be on playing the rest of the week though, so keep an eye out for me on PSN. Text if you will, we can get some games going.

Second subject: Television programming!

I'm not much of a TV person, but it doesn't mean I don't like it. I don't watch many shows at all, hell my Facebook profile only lists one show under favorites, and it's House. I usually work evening hours so I don't GET to watch TV, and I usually get distracted before I can remind myself to watch episodes online. Often times, my friends will try to get me to watch THEIR favorite shows. Damn, it's already hard enough to follow just one show. Most of the popular shows people talk about are well into the third or fourth season already, how could I keep up? I don't even try. But I did resort to finding shows on my own. I figured only myself could convince myself. Here's what I've been watching.

What an entertaining show. Burn Notice is quite possibly the coolest show on television. Michael Westen (pictured) plays a spy who has been "burned", or basically "fired". When burned, all your assets are frozen and you're basically left behind. In the show, Michael (played by Jeffery Donavon) uses his skills to work as an investigator for anyone that is willing to hire him or give him leads to which why he was burned and who burned him. The show is rather casual, so missing a few episodes here and there won't hurt you if you're following the story arc. You can find Burn Notice on the USA channel, new episodes premier on Thursdays 9pm EST. USA loves to do reruns of this show, so if you missed some episodes check your listings on rerun times.

The TV is usually tuned onto USA, so I tend to watch other USA shows as well. I've caught some episodes of Royal Pains. I do like, but I find the Evan character to be very annoying, his line deliverance makes it seem like I'm watching a Disney show with my little sister. USA has also been running promos on the new season of Psyche, I haven't seen any of the episodes but I've heard of the buzz around the show before. I guess this is the show that The Mentalist has been ripping off of.

Anyways, what shows do you guys watch?

Wow you guys should have seen what SOCOM did to my PS3 tonight. It was mad fucked up and before that I would disconnected from a game immediately after dying.

The patch keeps getting delayed because it's not passing SONY's QA testing.

I wish I could work for SONY just so I could tell them to stop supporting that stupid ass company.

All times are UTC - 6 hours [ DST ]
